What exactly are we working on at this very moment? Well, Amber and I are teaming up to create home decor that people can use on a regular basis from items that would have otherwise been disposed of. This keeps perfectly good things out of landfills that really just need a little tender love and care, and gives us the opportunity to beautify homes in our neighbourhood! Those mirrors are just the beginning.

I’m constantly impressed by Amber’s handy-woman skills, and am happy she has included me in the magic of upcycling.

Our purpose really comes down to these three things:

• Upcycling

• Networking

• Fundraising

Upcycling: Where is this going, you might ask? Once we have enough inventory of fun household and garden items, we will introduce our online Bella Doma Reclaimed Store. Here we will have a cool selection of items to choose from, but will also offer commission requests. You can feel good knowing that your decor is unique and reclaimed - for you!

Networking: With projects like these, it is really easy to exchange ideas and meet people doing similar projects. We can’t wait to meet them and enjoy our common values together! Would love to collaborate in one way or another. (I see a special showcase event in our future!)

Fundraising: As we sell these reclaimed items in our online store, the profits of these funds will go towards our dream to open Bella Doma B&B.
